YOU Elect a Student Representative Council

YOU ELECT A STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL

Students have the opportunity to have their say in a body known as:

Colo High School Student Representative Council

The aims of the Council are:

·         To improve student life

·         To uphold the rights of students

·         To develop social awareness

·         To promote better student relationships

The SRC is a very active part of Colo High School life. It is also valuable training for you in working of democracy. You should exercise your vote responsibly as your selection of a representative will affect your ability to make your own opinion known. Representatives of each year are elected to Council towards the end of the school year. They hold office for the following twelve months.

In Year 7 students elect four (4) representatives to join the SRC in Semester 2, 2001. Mrs Decent (English Faculty) co-ordinates the SRC.
